Children are the Most Fantastic Learners in the World
Daniel Quinn
What do children need?
1. Children thrive on good relations.
When a child feels safe when it is cared for by a caring adult, the world is open to explore. A child needs to feel connected to the adult in the learning situation.
Read more how you can make relations a priority in the learning process.

2. Children's autonomy enhances learning
Autonomy benefits the child as it gives a sense of well-being. It increases a child's interest and mastery in what he/ she is doing.
Nature is an ideal place for practising autonomy. Learn more about nature as the ideal context for learning autonomy.

"It is one of the best memories from our whole holidays – it really left a big impression on the children and also on us grown-ups – I learned so many new things and really enjoyed you and all the others. What a wonderful, enriching surrounding, what a wonderful group and what a wonderful message behind the great work the two of you are doing! This is something that really has to be shared with the world. The more people seeing it and hopefully being inspired by it, the better!"
Kathrin and Stefan from Germany, parents of 2 children, visiting us during the summer holiday.

3. Children need Real-Life-Activities
Engaging in Real-Life-Experiences deepens the skills they acquire Every time they use a skill in a slightly different context they will learn more about the different aspect of the skill and will have confidence in unfamiliar situations.
